Communal laughter is healing, so it's no wonder that after 18 months of isolation, audiences are craving that experience more than ever. That's why Cleo King and Ebony Marshall-Oliver feel blessed to be starring in the new Broadway comedy Chicken & Biscuits at Circle in the Square Theatre. King and Marshall-Oliver play squabbling sisters in this romp set at a very dramatic Black family funeral. But despite their bickering, these characters deeply love each other—and the same goes for King and Marshall-Oliver offstage, too. TDF brought these hilarious ladies together for a tasty conversation about what makes them laugh, their go-to chicken and biscuits spots and how excited they are to be making their Broadway debuts in such a joyous show. If you weren't able to tune in live, you can watch a recording below. Captions are available.
